# Release Notes 2.227.0 (12.11.2025)

This release introduces a new endpoint for monitoring asynchronous jobs and an enhancement to our Form Field Extraction API.

#### Improved Form Field Extraction API
We have updated the [Form Field Extraction API](https://docs.pdfgeneratorapi.com/v4#tag/Services/operation/extractFormFields) with a new `key_field` parameter. This allows you to specify a field's `id` or `name` to be used as the unique key for each item in the response, making the extracted data much easier to parse and map.

#### API Endpoint to Fetch Async Job Status
It is now possible to programmatically query the status of an asynchronous document generation job by its `job_id`. This new endpoint is essential for monitoring the progress of large or long-running generation tasks.
