# Release Notes 2.233.0 (31.12.2025)

This release introduces significant changes to our billing structure and usage calculations to provide more flexibility and transparency for high-volume users.

#### From "Merges" to "Credits" 
We have updated our terminology and calculation method. Usage is now measured in "Credits" rather than "merges." This new system is based on page count: **every 5 pages generated in a document consumes 1 Credit**. This aligns usage more closely with actual output volume.

#### On-Demand Billing 
To prevent service interruptions, we have introduced On-Demand Billing. You can now opt-in via your Billing settings to automatically purchase additional credits if you exceed your monthly allowance. You can specify a cap on how many extra credits you are willing to buy, ensuring you stay within budget while maintaining uptime.

#### Usage Limits & Suspension
We have updated our account suspension policy. Accounts will now be suspended immediately upon reaching 100% of their monthly limit (previously 110%).
* **Recommendation**: We strongly suggest enabling On-Demand Billing to avoid unexpected suspension if your volume spikes.
* **Notifications:** We will continue to send email alerts when you reach 75%, 90%, and 100% of your usage.

#### Minor improvements and bug fixes
* Fixed public form submission issue with empty Date fields.
* Improved content rendering logic to prevent memory leaks under high load.


### Internal updates
Release 2.233.0 introduces internal updates, refactoring, and code improvements that are not directly visible to end-users.
