Data collection and document automation using Forms



We want to enable more people to automate their document generation. We understand that API integration is not always possible, so we are introducing Forms—an easy way to collect data and automate document generation.

The new Forms feature allows you to easily collect data and automatically generate the document with filled data.

Let's look at how to use Forms to create certificates easily.

Step 1: Create a certificate template in PDF Generator API
Step 2: Create a Form to collect data
Step 3: Share the Form link
Step 4: Download the certificate document



And it is that easy! In the following months, we will be adding additional features to integrate the forms with external systems (e.g. low-code and automation platforms), track Form events (e.g. who has opened or filled the Form) and additional actions with the generated document (e.g. signing, reviewing).

New endpoints for Documents


We introduced two endpoints related to Document Storage, you can now fetch stored document information and delete generated documents from the storage.

Internal updates


Release 2.179.0 introduces internal updates, refactoring, and code improvements that are not directly visible to end-users.
