Release Notes 2.254.0 (27.05.2026)

This release extends our new Document Review engine to external documents, adds more robust compliance tracking, and introduces programmatic access to our public Template Library.

Initiate Document Reviews for External PDFs

You can now use our Document Review and Acknowledgment workflows for PDFs generated outside of the PDF Generator API. A new API endpoint allows you to upload any external PDF to our Document Storage, which returns a Document Viewer URL so you can easily send it to your reviewers.

Public Template Library API Endpoint

We have introduced a new endpoint that allows you to programmatically fetch the definition of any public template from our library. This makes it easy to inspect layouts or programmatically copy public templates directly into your own workspace using the "create template" endpoint.

Document Review Upgrades & IP Tracking

We have made minor UI updates to the Document Viewer's review panel for a cleaner user experience. Additionally, to strengthen your audit trails for legal and compliance requirements, the system now automatically records the reviewer's IP address alongside their timestamp and metadata when an acknowledgment is submitted.
